Welcome Alumni!
Welcome back, Browning alumni!
Alumni play an important role in the Browning community. Our Alumni Association consists of any student who attended Browning for at least one term and left in good standing, and we encourage all members of the Alumni Association to get, and stay, involved. Connect with fellow alumni, learn about upcoming events, share class notes, see photos from recent events, and more.
Most importantly, we want to hear from you!
Submit a class note below or call us at (212) 256-1175, and follow us on social media to get more Browning news.

Supporting Students and Alumni
Meet The Panther Mentors
The Panther Mentors are Black alumni who came together to support our school after focus groups held in 2020 allowed Browning to gain a greater awareness of the experience of students of color. The Panther Mentors have partnered with our admissions and advancement teams to support Browning, and have made presentations to students. They initiated an endowed tuition assistance fund to be awarded to Browning students who identify as African-American or Latinx/Hispanic. The fund is named in honor of Dennis M. Coleman ’72, the first Black student to graduate from The Browning School.
Each year, an incoming Lower School student is named a Dennis M. Coleman Panther Mentors Scholar and joins a cohort of previous students who share this distinction.
Ways to Support the Next Generation
Internship or Job Opportunities: Let us know if your company (or a company you are affiliated with) is hiring recent graduates or looking for interns.
Networking Opportunities: Discuss your career, offer professional advice, and connect with alumni in a meaningful way. Sharing your time serves as a valuable opportunity for current students to better discern their career interests and navigate life after Browning.
