Kindergarten applicants must turn five by December 31 of the year of entry. To be eligible for KinderFirst, applicants must turn five between May 1 and December 31 of the same year.
The application process for Kindergarten and KinderFirst follows the same steps through December. At that point, eligible families will be asked whether they would like their son to be considered for KinderFirst. Families who wish to be considered will register for a second assessment, designed specifically for KinderFirst candidates, which will take place on Saturday, January 9, 2027. Boys who complete the second assessment will be considered for both Kindergarten and KinderFirst, and families will learn of the placement recommendation at the time decisions are released.
The deadline for submitting a preliminary application and scheduling admission appointments is Tuesday, December 1, 2026—however, appointments are limited and will likely be filled before that date. We strongly encourage you to apply and schedule your appointments as early as possible. Families who apply after all appointments are filled will be placed on a waitlist and notified if a slot becomes available.
