Alumni Reunion 2026: Once a Panther, Always a Panther

Browning’s Alumni Reunion on April 17 was a vibrant, all-day celebration that brought together alumni, faculty, and friends in true Panther spirit. The festivities kicked off at the 64th Street campus with breakfast and an informal alumni career panel, where Upper School students had the chance to connect with graduates and hear inspiring reflections on life after Browning.

From there, alumni explored the new Upper School building on a student-led tour that sparked plenty of excitement. Standout stops included the state-of-the-art gym and the robotics lab,  highlights showcasing the school’s dynamic and forward-thinking approach to learning. The energy continued as guests made their way to the 62nd Street campus, where Middle School Lamp Society students led an engaging tour of the newly reimagined Lower and Middle School spaces, offering a fresh and enthusiastic look at student life today.

The celebration carried on with a festive luncheon at the Links Club honoring the 50th and 25th reunion classes. Members of the Class of 2001, including Andy Sandberg, Nick Versandi and John Terzis were warmly recognized, and the community was especially delighted to welcome Shawn Cherry ’75 back to celebrate his 51st reunion. Juan Reyes ’86, this year’s Alumnus Achievement Award winner, was also honored for his professional accomplishments and enduring commitment to Browning.

The day wrapped up with a reception in the Kurani Gym, where alumni from 1963vto 2021 reconnected, reminisced, and celebrated with former teachers and classmates. With more than 130 attendees throughout the day, the reunion was a joyful and memorable gathering filled with pride, laughter, and lasting connections.
