Each boy will choose a weekly focus for camp, and every day includes time beyond that—ensuring a balanced camp experience. Campers will spend half of their day in their specialty class, with additional time in the park and other options available, such as PE or sampling a different class. Themed trips add to the excitement and help boys build friendships as they explore shared interests. Campers can change their specialty as they wish, from week to week, or keep the specialty for the entirety of their time at camp.
Panther Passport is staffed by Browning faculty, with support from Browning’s oldest students serving as counselors-in-training, reinforcing a strong sense of continuity and brotherhood.
Course Descriptions
Arts, Grades K-3
We provide a nurturing, homeroom atmosphere in the Arts program where younger campers feel right at home while developing valuable skills. We will visit the park or have PE each day and do different visual and performing arts projects each week with some fun, games, and crafting.
Chess, Grades K-5
Coach Giorgi leads the boys each day with a tournament, grouped primarily by rating and deep study of the tactics of the game. They will have time to focus on sports and social time in the park too.
Sports: Champ Camp K-2 and 3-5
Enjoy the best of phys ed with our great phys ed teachers. Boys will spend all day in athletics with time in the park too. Sportsmanship, enjoyment, and skill development will be at the fore.
STEM, Grades K-2 and 3-5
Each week of the STEM program has different activities all based around engineering challenges and scientific discovery. There will be building projects, dissections, and coding robots. See the registration page for more details on each week’s programming.
